(5) Grrr (again)

Ok so this was my first attempt at leopard print, for a first go I think I did pretty well, if I was to do it again I think I'd do the spots slightly smaller. I'd just got a mini brush and dotting tool set for Christmas 2011 and was very excited about the whole ordeal :D

(4) Grrr

I'm really annoyed I didn't take a picture of these after tidying up, I don't even know why I didn't do it, I tend to get quite excited once I've painted my nails and take a picture straight away....

(3) ... Can you see a theme here?

My third attempt at nail art was inspired by Cutepolish on YouTube (as probably the majority of the nails I've ever done are, she's one of the main reasons I fell in love with nail art). It was the paint splatter tutorial and here it is:
I actually think I did quite well on this one, but it was before I realised not to paint all the way down to the cuticles. Again, this was 3 years ago so I probably should have improved a lot but I'm not sure if I have or not really...

(2) My second nail art

I played around with rubbing alcohol and newspaper, but words weren't interesting enough, so I found the Wallace and Gromit comic in a newspaper I am embarrassed to say I had access to and had a go with that. Again October 2011 around my eighteenth birthday (I feel so old), and the reason only my thumb is showing? I didn't wait for the base to dry before doing the newspaper-y bit and thus all my other fingers were a mess of tacky polish and fluffed up Gromit's face, not a pretty sight.

(1) My first attempt at nail art.

This is my first ever nail art. It was in October 2011. I didn't clean up the edges (As you'll get to know I tend to forget to do that). My polishes were awful and my nails in bad condition but it didn't stop me from getting addicted to all things polish.
